so, band camp is finally over. for those of you who don't know this slow and painful death, at PHS we get to learn to march, read drill, do drill, and learn show music through two weeks of 9 to 9 practice. it's really not that bad...it's fun because we have section competitions and such, but still i'm glad it's over.
so now i'm catching up on my updating, reading, writing, sleep, and couch-potato time. I'm also learning two new songs today. One is Never Say Never by the Fray...such a pretty piano part...(love it) and another composed by Alex H. on youtube (aka: TheVoiceDubGang) called Nocturne (in E minor) which is also gorgeous. anyway, Alex proposed a challenge for people to laern his song (it's only short) and then to record themselves playing it and post it and to just mess around a little and see how they interprete it. i've got most of it figured out...i just have to combine these two complicated parts together and then i'm going to try to add a little "darker" part to it because it goes from Happy sounding to dark and then to happy again and i was trying to make it a better transition (in my way).

anyway, i would appreciate any suggestions on the song front because i'm not that skilled at just conjuring forth magic notes that work prettily together. and also, i'm trying to a write a song...kind of. not sure if it's just poemy or songy yet...but any music suggestions on that would be welcomeed also!

one last thing, i think my mind is going bonkers because i like my friend Frodo (i'm not sure if he still likes me, but whatever.) and also another kid who's a sophmore now, but i'm confused on that front about my affections. and then at band camp one of my boy-----friends (i have more boy friends then girl friends) is i think (key word: think) flirting with me, but i can't be sure. and i'm starting to get the fallnig for feeling when i'm around him. not to meantion the fact that everytime he so much as touches me i get all goosebumpy and gooey inside. but i just don't know.

this is the limit on boy problems.
